What we collect

When you use WordBond, we collect:

• Account info: your email address (for sign-in).
• Profile data: the resume or profile information you provide — name, contact details, work history, skills, education.
• Job postings: the job descriptions you paste or upload.
• Usage data: which runs you create and when.

How we use it

Your data is used to generate your tailored resumes and cover letters. We send your profile and the target job posting to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce the documents. We do not sell your personal information.

Verification & sharing

If you share a resume via a WordBond link, anyone with that link can view the resume. Verification codes let employers confirm a resume's authenticity. Only share links you intend to be seen.

Data retention

Your runs and documents are stored so you can access them from your account. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@wordbond.io.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take your privacy seriously.
